Can someone help?

Jeff rode his bike around the bije trail that was 1/3 of a mile long. he rode around the trail 9 times. right a fraction grader than 1 for the distance. how many miles did jeff ride?

sure

either 1/3 times 9 = 9/3
or
1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 +1/3 + 1/3 = 9/3
If I counted right :)
Then for the second answer you can group them
1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 1
1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 1
1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 1
and then
1+1+1 = 3

9/3

3

You are welcome :)

thank you it helped me so much!

Thank you very much Damon :)

can you explain how you got 9/3 for third grade

thank you very much. I appreciate it :)

Sure, I can help you with that!

To find the total distance that Jeff rode, we need to multiply the length of the bike trail by the number of times he rode around it.

The length of the bike trail is given as 1/3 of a mile.

Jeff rode around the trail 9 times.

So, the total distance Jeff rode is:
1/3 mile × 9 = (1 × 9) / (3 × 1) = 9/3 = 3 miles.

Therefore, Jeff rode a distance of 3 miles.
