Hannah is comparing a rock from a riverbed and a rock from deep underground. One is very smooth, and the other has very rough edges. Explain why each rock was probably found in that location.

I can give you a hint, though (a couple, actually).

Think about what the river would do to the rock. Go down to see.

Erosion. If the rock was eroded, it would be smooth. In the cave, erosion can't occur. So it would be a rough rock. I hope that helps you.

@JPtiger13 thx for giving me the hint. I kinda understand what the question is asking me now. :)

What do you think?

The rock that is very smooth is likely to be the one near the riverbed because the river would probably toss the rock around and weather it down until it is smooth. Therefore, that means that the other rock was most likely found underground.

@Youarewelcome, Your cheating you moron, your taking bunny funnys work, you sick twisted person.

Maybe you should figure that out, cheaters are banned from posting here.
