Homework Help: math

can anybody help me to understand this problem. a family drove from Los Angeles to Miami. The trip covered 2,950 miles. If the average price for gas along the trip was $3.50 per gallon, and the family paid $377.60 for gas during the trip how many gallons of gas did they use?
