/4x + 5/ =25

assume 4x+5 is positive, then 4x>-5 or x>-1.2 AND

4x+5=25 or 4x=20 or x=5, which meets both of the requirement above.

assume 4x+5 is negative, then 4x<5, or x<1.25, AND 4x+5=-25 or 4x=-30, and x=-7.5 which meets the requirement

x= -7.5 or x=5
