1)Which cities were the leaders of the two Christian religions?

2)What body of water touched Latin,Eastern Orthodox and pagan lands?
3)In what place would you anticipate a major effort by Latin Church to expand its influence? Why?(according to the map of Christianity in Europe around 1000)
Pls.i need help in these questions as fast as possible, SORRY! :(

i actually cant understand the last question and by the way thanks for guiding me :D

Question 3 seems to be asking what direction (north, south, east, west, etc.) you think Roman Catholic (i.e., "Latin Church") expansion would happen from about 1000 AD onward. Take a look at that map and see what you think.

it could be northwest hmm..i guess so

i dunno the reason for it, oh!

Northwest, west, and southwest mostly ... especially when the New World was discovered (North, Central, and South America).

Go back and read your text. The reason for that expansion ought to be obvious.

the reason can be because the catholic church was originated in Western Rome as it is named Western Roman catholic church

is it correct?

If you'll notice, on that map just about all migration takes place westward. The primary things that moved from west to east were the Crusades, and they weren't for migration.

As people migrated westward, so did the monks and priests.

What would have happened, do you think, had the monks and priests from Rome tried to move eastward or northeastward??

I miss you, sir. I loved this class so much and I remember this sort of homework. Time passes by quickly, huh?

nope its a worksheet homework and it has a lot of marks

1. Choose two and determine their capital cities, if there are any. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Christian_denominations

2. See the map in #3 below.
