The age difference between the oldest and youngest swimmer on this team is 20 years. Suppose they had broken up the distance of 400 meters by age. how far would each person swim in the relay?

broken up how? If the distance swum is proportional to the age, then since the sum of the ages is 100,

Jenny would swim 19/100 of the 400m, or 19*4=76m

Annie: 20/100 * 400 = 80m

and so on
