a. homologous structures
b. fossils
c. reproduction rates
d. DNA sequences

Which of the following provides evidence for the hypothesis of punctuated equilibrium?

a. the discovery of many fossils of different forms corresponding to a line of ancestors for a species.

b. the discovery of a common sequence in DNA in several different species.

c. the discovery of a vestigial structure in an organism.

d. the discovery of an abrupt change in DNA in a species after many generations of no change.

• Science - R, Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 10:13am

1) b. fossils
2) d. the discovery of abrupt change in DNA in a species after many generations of no change.

Yes, these are correct, I've done them myself.

I know it stinks that we agree to not cheat but we have too because its so hard!!!:(

• Science - Erwin Smith, Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 2:08pm

@anon No you guys are just too lazy to even read the textbooks...

• Science - kayla, Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 8:02am

@Erwin no that is not true bc im homeschool and they only gave me a textbook for ela and math not for social studys and sometime some people don't understand some stuff in the textbook so how about u handle urself and others will handle thereselfs now have a nice day and thanks for the answer everyone else

• Science - Mr.Smart, Monday, October 19, 2015 at 4:18pm

1.B. Fossils.
2.D. The discovery of a abrupt change in DNA in a species that has gone generations without change.
3.C. No conclusions can be drawn.
4.C. A combination of gradualism and punctuated equilibrium.

• Science - Charels, Monday, October 26, 2015 at 12:59pm

i think its ok to cheat on the small assignments as long as you know the information by the time you get to the test. anyone agree?

• Science - Science Nerd-In-Training, Monday, October 26, 2015 at 12:59pm

i do.

• Science - jackson , Monday, October 26, 2015 at 4:31pm

I agree with Charles because on the small assignments they never give you enough information to answer the questions that have nothing to do with what you just learned

• Science - tt, Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 3:38pm

thank you so much for these answers u really smart
😌 -so relieved-

• Science - Hammy, Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 9:14am

I agree with Charles.

Skigirl is right. It is bdcc

• Science - Ms. Right is always right is always right, Friday, December 4, 2015 at 1:03pm

They say they monitor the computers but we all know that that's a lie

• Science - OMG IM SO F***** MAD!!, Friday, December 4, 2015 at 4:56pm

That is def. true. I look up the answers all the time and they never called my parents saying that I have been cheating. And if you really think about it, its not really cheating because once you find out the answer, you'll keep that knowledge and use it again....
So its kinda like a helper for confused students (including myself)

• Science - OMG IM SO F***** MAD!!, Friday, December 4, 2015 at 4:59pm

And for those that are scared to put in the answers, I put in:
*B
*D
*C
*C
And they were a 4/4 100%.
Thanks to whoever did that!

• Science - Anony, Friday, April 22, 2016 at 12:00pm

These are always the right answers because the teachers never change the order of their tests. So basically, if it's an answer for people in connexus, it's right. Also, to people who have never been in homeschool in 7th grade, we only have math and ela textbooks, not all of them. Thank you all!!

• Science - LolDude, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 3:24pm

Thanks

Im really lazy and Im about to fail the 7th grade sooooo THANK U LIKE SO MUCH

• Science - Ashley, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 2:04am
