Why did factory bosses view unions as a threat to he success of a business in the industrial era between the 1800s-1900s?
Oh, my goodness! If the factory bosses gave in to unions, they'd have to pay the workers more, spend money on safer conditions, and have the workers on the job for shorter hours.
Hmm! Sounds familiar. Many employers today still fear unions for the same reasons.
