Find the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle with legs of 9 cm and 12 cm.

c) 15 cm
d) 225 cm

Use the pythagorean theorem:
c^2 = a^2 + b^2
where
c = hypotenuse
a = one leg
b = the other leg
In the problem,
a = 9
b = 12
Now solve for c using the equation above.
