**Henry**, Monday, October 21, 2013 at 4:20pmV^2 = Vo^2 + 2g*h

h = (V^2-Vo^2)/2g

h = (0-5^2)/-20 = 1.25 m.

V = Vo + g*t

t = (V-Vo)/g = (0-5)/-10 = 0.5 s.
