Homework Help: physics

I have no idea how to start this problem. I don't want the answer just how to start.A supertanker (mass = 1.70x10^8kg) is moving with a constant velocity. Its engines genterate a forward thrust of 7.40x10^5N. Determine (a) magnitude of the resistive force exerted on teh tanker by teh water and (b) the magnitude of the upward buoyant force exerted on teh tanker by the water.
