My answers to these questions are the following:
1). Trinidad is the Caribbean island that is rich in natural gas, which has impacted the economy by, due to new factories, turning Trinidad into a major exporter of methanol and ammonia and also attracting developers to the island.
2). Rain forests is the dominant vegetation of the Amazon river basin.
3). The main disadvantage of slash-and burn farming is the fact that the soil becomes exhausted, or drained of all of its nutrients from the land.
5). Some examples of mineral and energy resources found in abundance in Latin America include gold, silver, iron, copper, bauxite (aluminum ore), tin, lead, nickel, oil, coal, natural gas, uranium, and hydroelectric power.
