Determine the number of diagonals in a regular 40-gpn

If you mean that the a regular 40-sided polygon, recall that the formula for total number of diagonals of a polygon with n sides is,

D = n(n-3)/2

Therefore,

D = 40(40-3)/2

D = 740 diagonals
