1). What three factors have contributed to the success of the American economy?
2). What are the geographic origins of some American musical styles?
3). What invention made life in the suburbs possible?
My answers to these questions are the following:
1). Available natural resources, a skilled labor force, and a stable political system that allowed the economy to develop are the the three factors which have contributed to the success of the American economy.
2). Many ethnic groups contributed to the musical heritage of the United States. For example, jazz, blue, gospel, and rock n' roll have African-American origins. Country and bluegrass music also developed among Southern whites whose ancestors came from the British Isles.
3). Life in the suburbs was made possible by the invention as well as the widespread ownership of automobiles.
