1. List the following four compunds in increasing order of polarity:
-Resorcinol, Anthracene, Benzoic Acid, and 4-Amino-1-naphthanesulfonic Acid, sodium salt.
2. Predict which solvent (ligroin, water, toluene) might solubilize each solute from the compounds listed above. Why in each case?
