Can you please show step-by-step how to do this problem?

**Steve**, Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 10:06pmI assume you just want to clear the fraction. Dividing by x^2/3 is the same as multiplying by 3/x^2, so

(4x^2-x+5)(3/x^2)

12 - 3/x + 15/x^2

Was there something else you had to do?
