Since x increased by 9 when y decreased by 1, when y decreases 2 more to 0, x will increase 18 more, to 25.

algebraically,

the slope is -1/9, so

y = -1/9 x + c

since (7,2) is on the line,

2 = -7/9 + c

c = 25/9

y = -1/9 x + 25/9

when y=0,

-1/9 x + 25/9 = 0

x = 25
