- Math, HELP!! URGENT! -
**Steve**, Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 4:17amstart with the parens:

(1/8)(40v−24y) = 5v-3y

(1/7)(21v−35y+9)−(1/6) = 3v-5y + 9/7 - 1/6

Now subtract to get

2v+2y - 47/42

do the other the same way
