Essay

Destiny is an abstract concept. It can be controlled and not controlled. Good things can come to people naturally or people can obtain good things through their achievements. We should both wait for good things to come and not wait depending on the circumstances.

Good things can come to people when they wait. For example, a person who strives to work hard in college for four years will surely have good results. Through patience, that person experience joy in his or her success. Waiting may take a long time, but good things take time. How can someone get good grades when they do not take the time to study and wait for the result? We can wait for good things to come, but there are times when we can not wait.

A person can shape his or her own destiny by achieving something. For instance, a teen might successfully abstain himself or herself. By doing so, she or he is setting a good start in marriage. Their destiny is controllable. They are making a choice and not simply waiting. Destiny depends on the circumstances.

We should wait for good things to come. Through patience, a person can procure what he or she aims for. There are times when it is possible for someone to manipulate his or her destiny. This is based on the decision a person makes to accomplish his or her goals.

Essay Feedback:

Overall, your essay provides a balanced perspective on the topic of waiting for good things versus actively pursuing destiny. Your introduction effectively introduces the topic and presents the two opposing viewpoints. Moreover, you provide clear examples and reasoning to support your stance, as well as acknowledging the potential for both waiting and actively achieving goals to influence one's destiny.

One suggestion for improvement is to provide more specific examples and evidence to support your arguments. For instance, instead of stating that "a person who strives to work hard in college for four years will surely have good results," you could provide specific statistics or personal anecdotes to make your point more compelling. Additionally, further explaining how certain circumstances can determine whether waiting or actively pursuing destiny is more applicable would strengthen your argument.

Another aspect to consider is the structure of your essay. It would be beneficial to organize your paragraphs based on each point and supporting evidence, which would make your argument clearer and more cohesive.

In terms of grading, I would give this essay a solid B. While your arguments are well-developed and supported, there is room for improvement in terms of providing more specific examples and refining the structure of your essay.

Destiny is an abstract concept that has been debated throughout history. Some argue that good things will come to us if we simply wait, while others believe that destiny is not something we can wait for, but rather something that we must actively work towards. In my opinion, both waiting for good things to come and actively pursuing our destiny have their merits, depending on the circumstances at hand.

Waiting for good things to come can be a wise approach in certain situations. For example, imagine a person who has been studying diligently for four years in college. They have put in the time and effort, patiently waiting for the day they receive their degree. When that day finally arrives, the feeling of accomplishment is immensely gratifying. This is a prime example of how waiting patiently can lead to the fruition of our desired outcomes. Good things often take time to manifest, and by being patient and persistent, we increase the likelihood of success.

However, there are times when waiting alone is insufficient. In some cases, we must take charge of our own destiny by actively working towards our goals. Achievements are not solely a matter of chance, but rather a matter of choice. Consider the example of a teenager who decides to abstain from risky behavior, such as substance abuse or engaging in unsafe relationships. By making this choice, the teenager is consciously shaping their own destiny. They are taking control of their life and setting themselves up for a healthier and more successful future. In this scenario, waiting for good things to come would not suffice. It is through their own choice and actions that they are able to achieve a positive outcome.

Ultimately, the approach we take towards our destiny depends on the circumstances surrounding us. In some instances, waiting patiently for good things to come is the most appropriate course of action. However, in other situations, we must actively work towards our goals and shape our own destiny. It is important to recognize when to exercise patience and when to take action.

In conclusion, whether we should wait for good things to come or actively pursue our destiny depends on the circumstances we find ourselves in. There are times when waiting patiently is the most appropriate approach, while in other situations, we must take charge of our own destiny. By striking a balance between waiting and taking action, we can increase our chances of achieving the desired outcomes in our lives. Destiny may not be entirely within our control, but by making choices and taking proactive steps, we can influence the direction of our lives.
