9 coins that equal 83 cents

2 quarters 2 dimes 2 nickles and 3 cents

Yay! You got it! :-)

thank you also

i have to draw shapes with the same lengths using only whole numbers which the perimeter is 36

9*4=36
6*6=36
what else can i do

You're finding the area, not the perimeter.

The perimeter = 2 times the length + 2 times the width

36 = (2 * 3) + (2 * 15)

36 = (2 * 4) + (2 * 14)

How many more like that can you find?

no it says

talia garden is the shape of a regular polygon with perimeter of 36 yards. draw at least 3 diff. shapes that the garden could be and label the lengths of the sides using only whole numbers.

The site I posted shows the perimeters of various regular polygons.
