In the beginning: Minette had T, Mark had K, and Michelle had L.

After step 1: Minette had (T-K-L), Mark had 2K and Michelle had 2L.

After step 2: Minette had (2T-2K-2L), Mark had 4K and Michelle had (3L-T-K).

Solve 3 simultaneous equations of 3 variables:

2T - 2K - 2L = 24.00

4K = 24.00

-T - K + 3L = 24.00
