log2(3x-2) - log2 (x-5)=4

- math/algebra -
**Kuai**, Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 11:09pm3x-2/x-5 = 2^4

3x-2/x-5 = 16

multiply by x-5

x-5(3x-2/x-5) = 16(x-5)

3x -2 = 16x -80

3x -16x -2 16x-16x -80

-13x -2 = -80

-13x -2 + 2 = -80 +2

-13x = -78

x = 6
