Eq2:12x - 4y = -24

Multiply Eq1 by -4 and Eq2 by 2:

24x + 8y = -48

24x - 8y = -48

Add the Eqs:

48x = -96

X = -2.

In Eq1, replace X with -2:

-6*(-2) - 2y = 12

12 - 2y = 12

-2y = 12-12 = 0

Y = 0

(-2,0).
