**herp_derp**, Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 9:50pmwell...not sure if my answer is right but...

so the original ratio is 5:7:8

the increase is 40%,50%, and 75% respectively...

so...

5 x 0.4 = 2

7 x 0.5 = 3.5

8 x 0.75 = 6

Therefore the new ratio is:

4:7:12 (remember you cant hav decimals)

and always remember...HERP THE DERP!!

**Steve**, Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10:48amLooks like you have the ratios of the increases, but I think they are asking about the final seat totals.

That would be

5*1.4 : 6*1.5 : 7*1.75

= 7:9:12.25

= 28:36:49
