1. is correct, I would write it as
6.0 x 10^19
2. area = (1 + √2)^2
=1 + 2√2 + 2 = 3 + 2√2
3. 2√4 + 2√8
= 2(2) = 2(2√2)
= 4 + 4√2
4. correct
5.
(5√4)(√8)/(√8(√2)
= 5√40/√16
= 5(2√10)/4
= 5√10/2
√y = 5+√2
square both sides
y = (5+√2)^2 = 25 + 10√2 + 2 = 27 + 10√2
