Cut a pie into equal slices. There are only 3 slices left. The angel measures for the 3 slices is 72 degrees.How many slices was the pie cut into?

An angle and an angel are two different things. This would be a good time to learn the difference.
If you cut a pie into 72 degree equal slices, you make a total of 360/72 = five pieces.
Just how many pieces are left does not affect the answer. They only want to know how many slices were made originally.
