simplifying square roots

1) find volume of this prism?
v=bwh

b=√12"
w=√6"
h=√8"

2)simplify: √576

3)simplify: √400

4)simplify: √256

5)simplify: √(1/4)


ex 2√5 + 6√5= 8√5

the answer has to be in √

but i don't understand it i got help by my teacher but i'm still confused
