Homework Help: 8th Math - Probability

Posted by L0velyLayna on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 4:50pm.

A basket contains 5 green lollipops, 12 red lollipops, and 7 orange lollipops. When a lollipop is taken from the basket, it is not replaced. What is P(orange, then orange)?

I know the answer. It's 42/552.

But HOW do I figure this out? I can do the first p(orange) but if it's not replaced, how do I do I figure out orange again? Thanks!
