Find the domain of the function is it x-2

the range of function is it (00,-2)

the domain of the inverse is it x>-2

The range of the inverse is it (-2,00)

for the domain, we know that √u must have u>=0, so we need x-2>=0, or x>=2.

the range is [0,oo)
