**Shane**, Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 12:45pmc=Cost

m=miles

c=$3.00+(m*$2.00)

If the number of miles=1

c=$3.00+(1*$2.00)

c=$3.00+$2.00

c=$5.00

- math -
**Anonymous**, Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 1:11pmso if m=2 then c= 3.00+(2*2.00)

so thats 3.00+4.00

so c=7
