"If Tom buys a red skateboard, then Anne buys pink inline skates." Which statement below is logically equivalent?
A. If Anne does not buy pink inline skates, then Tom does not buy a red skateboard.
B. If Tom does not buy a red skateboard, then Anne does not buy pink inline skates.
C. If Anne buys pink inline skates, then Tom buys a red skateboard.
D. If Tom buys a red skateboard, then Anne does not buy pink inline skates.
is it B

no, it is (A) the contrapositive
Just because you know what happens when Tom buys a red skateboard, that does not mean you know anything about what happens when he does not. The inverse is not always true.
