Homework Help: math ALG 2!

A blue bike is $14 less than a red bike. The sum of their prices is $300. How much is the red bike?

i thought it was 123 but i think its wrong.plz help

x+(x-14)=300
2x-14=300
2x=314
x=157

b + b + 14 = 300

2b = 286

b = 143 >> blue bike

157 >> red bike
