**ttuuffyy**, Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 4:00pmWell I thought 2/4 was one.

**Ms. Sue**, Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 4:08pmNo. 2/4 is not equivalent to 4/12.

Do you see how Writeacher got 1/3 from 4/12?

4 divided by 4 = 1

12 divided by 4 = 3

Let's try another.

4/12 = 2/6

Do you see how I got that?
