1/40 * 120 = 120/40 = 3 tons

The answer is really 6000 because it is asking you in pounds.it would be 3 tons but you have to change it to pounds
6,000 lb cause you will have to divide 120 and 40 to get 3 and 3 tons equal 6,000 pounds
