feedback is appreciated, thanks in advance
THOUSANDS OF JOBLESS MICHIGANDERS WILL RECEIVE LESS MONEY IN THEIR WEEKLY EMERGENCY UNEMPLOYMENT CHECKS. MORE THAN 74 THOUSAND PEOPLE IN MICHIGAN RECEIVE BENEFITS THROUGH FEDERALLY FUNDED EMERGENCY UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION PROGRAM (EUC). IN ABOUT TWO WEEKS CLAIMANTS’ WEEKLY CHECK AMOUNTS WILL BE REDUCED BY 10.7 PERCENT. THE REDUCTION IS DUE TO THE SEQUESTER—ABOUT 85 BILLION DOLLARS IN AUTOMATIC, IMMEDIATE FEDERAL BUDGET CUTS THAT KICKED IN ON TWO WEEKS AGO.
also do you have any suggestion for what other word I can use beside sequester, doesn't seem like a word a 6th grader would know. thanks!
First, please do not use all caps. Not only is it harder to read, but it is like SHOUTING online. Thank you.
Sequester is the term used.
Does this only effect those jobless in Michigan?
"…that kicked in two weeks ago."
Do you need to broadcast the acronym, (EUC)?
