For this question, use the copy of the Random Number table provided at the end of this AAT. (This table was

copied from page 111 in the Textbook.)
Select 48 values according to the following criteria.
o The first thirty (30) numbers must lie in the range from 48 to 58 inclusive.
o The next ten (10) numbers must lie in the range from 30 to 70 inclusive.
o The remaining eight (8) numbers must lie in the range from 50 to 95 inclusive.
Note: Repeated values are possible and must be included if they occur.

To select 48 values according to the given criteria using the Random Number table, follow these steps:

1. Locate the Random Number table provided at the end of the AAT or the copy from page 111 in the Textbook.

2. Start by selecting the first 30 numbers that lie in the range from 48 to 58 inclusive. To do this, move your finger/tab to the leftmost column of the table, which contains the digits 0-9. Select the first digit by placing your finger or tab on the first row of this column. Read the two-digit number that appears directly below the selected digit. Repeat this process for the next 29 digits.

Note: If the selected two-digit number is outside the desired range (48-58), ignore it and move to the next digit. Do not skip rows; keep moving down until a valid number is found.

3. Next, choose the next 10 numbers that lie in the range from 30 to 70 inclusive. Continue the process from step 2, but now you can select from the entire range of digits in the leftmost column (0-9).

4. Finally, select the remaining eight numbers that lie in the range from 50 to 95 inclusive. Repeat the process from step 2, but now you can select from the entire range of digits in the leftmost column (0-9).

Remember to record all the selected numbers, including repeated values if they occur, to meet the criteria for selecting 48 values.
