Read the following excerpt from Sky:

We finally reached Enkhuizen, an ancient harbor town, where the brisk wind from the sea was blowing so hard that we had to hold on to hats, skirts, and scarves. We walked with farmers and their families to the ferry boat. The farmers were holding baskets full of chickens, purchased at the open-air market.

What details about the setting make this “ancient harbor town” seem safe? A.The hard wind from the sea is creating a comic scene.
B.The open-air market is busy, warm, and inviting.
C.The presence of the farmers and chickens is comforting
I think it's C...?

I would also go with C. Option A seems wrong because the hard wind from the sea is actually quite dangerous and not at all comedic. Option B seems wrong because they seem to be at the harbour not at the market. The farmer's are coming from the open-ait market but we are in fact near the shore. Also, the paragraph made no reference to the open-air market being warm and busy.
