**JJ**, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 7:57pmDid you read my answer to her questions?

We start by dividing 1500 by 5 lbs per bag to get the number of bags which is 300

Since each bag costs 2.50 and we have 300 of them. we paid how much?

Once you get that answer multiply by 30% or .30 to get the profit.

- math -
**Jessica**, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 8:00pmPaid $750 if u multiply 2.50 and 300. Then I multiply 750 and get 225. Fo I subtract that from 750 and get 525 or is it the snswer $225?

**JJ**, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 8:21pm$225 is the profit.

they will sell the ice for $750 + 225 which is $975 total.

- math -
**Megan**, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 8:24pmSo 975$ is the answer to the whole math problem?

- math -
**JJ**, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 8:33pmDid they ask how much would they sell the ice for? or what is the profit?

the profit is $225 and the total price they will sellit for is $975

Read the question again carefully.
