first simplify to lowest terms, so the frist fraction is 4 3/5.

then we find least common denominator, so least common multiple of 5 and 4 is 20. we times first fraction by 4 and second by 5. thus we get 4 12/20 and 3 15/20

then we convert to improper fraction to get 4*20 + 12= 92

92/20 - 3 15/20

the second fraction is 3*20 + 15 = 75

so 92/20 - 75/20

so 92-75 = 17

so it is 17/20
