a bowling lane is 16.5m long. A young bowler throws a strike and hears the pins striking the floor 4.1 seconds after releasing the ball. How fast was the ball traveling? (The speed of sound in air is 343 m/s)

    Ts = 0.048 s. = Time for sound to travel 16.5 m.

    d = Vb*T = 16.5 m.
    Vb*(4.1-0.048) = 16.5
    Vb = 4.07 m/s = Velocity of the ball.
