a. the provision of sufficient parking space for custoemers at a suburban shopping mall
b. the purchase by a clothing store of seven dozen sweaters in assorted sizes and colors.
c. the inclusion of longer and more comprehensive warranty on an automobile

These look pretty obvious to me.

For example b - having merchandise in many different sizes and colors will give shoppers more choice which will lead to more sales.
