study the function table below
vases flowers
4 12
7 21
8 24
11 33
v f
which expression could be used to find the number of flowers (f) in (v) vases?
my answer is a. is that correct

math Steve, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 12:00am
Increase in v: 3 1 3
Increase in f: 9 3 9
Looks like f increases to f+3 3 for every v+1
So, f = 3v+c
Since f is exactly 3*v, c=0, and
f(v) = 3v
