You live 15 blocks (3/4 of a mile) from RACC. Your car is in for service so you decide to walk to class. Walking at a speed of 4 miles per hour, what is the latest time you can leave your home to be on time for your 10:00 am class in Berks Hall?
1) Estimate whether it will take you more or less than an hour?
2) Could you use conversion fractions? Which one(s)?

4/1 = 0.75/x

4x = .075

x = 0.75 / 4

x = 0.1875 hour

60 * 0.1875 = 11.25 minutes

Or to just estimate:

She walks 1 mile in 15 minutes -- so she walks a little less than 15 minutes.
