a poster art exhibition is to display a square picture with a white border around it. The border must be 10 in. wide at the bottom, 5 in. wide at the top, and 3 in. wide on each side. Using x to represent the length of a side of the picture. A) Write a variable expression for the area of the picture. B)Write a variable expression for the total area of the poster. C)Use your solutions to parts A & B to write a variable expression for the area of the border.
