In evening my test plz help me to solve it

A room length 3m,20m wide and 6m height.
Find the floor is to be tiled.if each tile measures 60cm*50cm,find the no. Of tiles required.

Floor area = 2000cm * 600cm

tile area = 60 * 50

(2000cm * 600cm)/(60 * 50) = ?

Tiles is 2000cm bt its ans is wrong

To find the number of tiles required to tile the floor of the room, we need to calculate the total area of the floor and divide it by the area of each tile.

1. Calculate the floor area:
The floor area can be calculated by multiplying the length and width of the room. In this case, the length is 3m and the width is 20m.
Floor Area = Length x Width = 3m x 20m = 60 square meters

2. Calculate the area of each tile:
The area of each tile is given as 60cm x 50cm. However, the floor area of the room is in square meters. Therefore, we need to convert the measurements of the tile to match the floor area. Since 1 meter is equal to 100 centimeters, we can convert the tile measurements to square meters.
Tile Area = (60cm/100cm) x (50cm/100cm) = 0.6m x 0.5m = 0.3 square meters

3. Calculate the number of tiles required:
To find the number of tiles required, we divide the floor area by the area of each tile.
Number of tiles = Floor Area / Tile Area = 60 square meters / 0.3 square meters.
Number of tiles = 200 tiles

Therefore, you would need 200 tiles to cover the floor of the room.
