Please help me.
Find the equation of the line satisfying the indicated properties. Express your answer in
slopeintercept form.
Passing through point (2, 4) and perpendicular to the line containing points (3, 1) and (5, 1).

slope of line through (3,1) and (5,1) = 0
which is a horizontal line
so our new line is a vertical line, thus the slope is undefined
it must pass through (2,4) and its equation would simply be
x = 2
(A vertical line cannot be expressed in the y = mx + b form, and you should not have been instructed to do so)
