a. How many fluid ounces of juice does the teacher bring? Show your work.

b. Does the teacher have enough juice to give each student a 12-fluid ounce glass of juice?

3 gallons = 12 quarts = 24 pints of 16 oz each

so

24*16 = 384 oz total

384 /12 = 32

only enough for 32 students

A. There are 128 fl oz in 1 gallon so there are 384 fl oz in 3 gallons.

B. There will not be enough for each student.
