Mariah is planting a rectangular rose garden,in the center of the garden, she puts a smaller rectangular patch of grass. the grass is 2ft by 3ft. What is the area of the rose garden?

Although the area for the grass = 6sq.ft., There is not adequate information about the area for the roses. Is is 1, 2, 3 or more feet around the grass?
