Debate topic: "Virtue is only beneficial to the one being virtuous." Me and my group members are on the Affirmative side, therefore must agree that this resolution is true and must stand. I've done some brainstorming with my group and researched online about virtue, but I feel that being on the AFF side is a disadvantage for us. Every one of our examples could easily be countered by a crossexaminer. Honestly, my group members and I personally feel that the resolution must fall. It's quite difficult to come up with examples that could "stump" the opposition, so that's what I'm asking for advice on.

How about being virtuous makes it easier to live with one's self by giving the person a positive self-image?
