x=cost of tape

meters of tape/cost

5.6/x=.8/2.5

x=17.5

I have the cost is $17.50

Is this correct?

They want us to do a check for this

I am not sure how to do the check? Can you help?

each roll has 80 cm

number of rolls = 560/80 = 7

cost = 7(2.5) = 17.5
